Bellydance (sometimes called Arabic Dance, Raks Sharqi, Egyptian or Middle-Eastern Dancing or even Tribal Style or Tribal Fusion) is good exercise and fun. We are based in the North of the UK, where there is a thriving bellydancing scene. Through this site we hope to help you get in touch with some of the teachers, dancers, drummers and musicians working all over the UK.

We also feature news of workshops, dance parties and other events. If you are a teacher or organiser then let us know what you're doing and we'll add it to the listings. There's no cost for any of this as we are a not-for-profit site. We are well established having been on the Internet scene since October 1999. Please don't confuse us with sites with a similar name - this is the best place for bellydance class information in the UK.
